Andres and Lisa Colosi have been awarded a prestigious FEST award.

The highly competitive FEST (Fund for Excellence in Science and Technology) awards are given to junior faculty in their first three years at UVa. The $50,000 prize will be used to support Shane's work in using algae to remove emerging (e.g., estrogenic) contaminants from wastewaters in while producing bioenergy. For more information click here.
